Outlaw Audio Beta Tester Application Form

Dear Fellow Outlaw: As you have read in our Newsletters, the Outlaws will be introducing a number of important products throughout the coming year. As a part of the development process for many of those products, we will be conducting beta tests that allow members of the Outlaw Community to act as an extension of our test and design teams by working with a pre-production sample to see how it functions in your system. The feedback from beta testers is important to us, and we welcome your participation. In the past we solicited testers individually for each new product, but with so many new products coming to market it is easier for us to create a central data base from which we will choose our testers. If you wish to add your name to our list of prospective testers, please fill out the questionnaire below. Due to the length of this application form it has been broken into two separate parts. After submission of the Part I you will automatically be directed to Part II of the application form. The information you enter is strictly confidential, and we will not share or sell it with any outside party. The questions are necessary, however, to insure that we are able to choose a wide range of testers that will help simulate the larger universe of potential customers for the product being tested. Before filling out the questionnaire we strongly recommend that you view the Beta Tester FAQ, which may be found by clicking here. However, a few top-level items bear mention here: We cannot accept requests to be a tester on a specific product. If your system profile fits the needs of a certain test, we will contact you. Please don’t call or e-mail to ask if you have been selected for a test. Again, if you are chosen, we will contact you directly. We obviously cannot comment on any tests that may be in progress. All testers will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and a Beta Tester Agreement (BTA) before being accepted as part of a test. This is to insure that you keep your participation in a test confidential while it is underway, along with any other Outlaw Confidential information that you receive that is necessary to conduct the test. Anyone violating the NDA or BTA will be removed from the test and may be subject to civil action As our thanks for their participation, testers have the option to purchase a new, final production version of the product they tested at 50% off the initial Outlaw price. Along the way, other “goodies” occasionally find their way into the hands of the beta testers. All beta testers must be at least 18 years old, and as part of the BTA must confirm that they are not affiliated with any manufacturer, distributor, retailer, installer or agent for consumer electronics products, and that they have no affiliation with a print, audio, video, or on-line magazine, program, forum or journal.
